Eric,
Current Wifi Tx will be automatically adjusted for best signal with distance between AP and device.
If Tx power is changed, all those WiFi RF calibration, regulatory settings, max power limits, band-edge reductions, rate to power settings, and a lot of other WiFi configuration information may be impacted.
