Kernel Oops on umid mbook M1 (sd9696)

Hello all,

I've posted this to Ubuntu launchpad

but have not received any advice, so I'm posting here.

Using 10.10 netbook ubuntu, tried libertas 9.70.7.p0-1 and 9.70.7.p0.0-1 .

Networks show up in nm-applet, but they can't be connected to, the
password gets asked over and over again.
