Additionally, the "mesh" functionality provided in the OLPC usb8388
firmware is not true 802.11s mesh either, it's a somewhat customized
mesh protocol based on 802.11s drafts that works around some hardware
limitations of the usb8388 itself. So it's probably not what you want.
The upstream kernel 802.11 stack (mac80211) does have some support for
actual 802.11s, so you may have more luck with an rt2x00 dongle and a
recent kernel.
